Never Forget Tibet is a feature documentary offering rare and intimate access to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, who recounts in his own words the dramatic story of his escape from Tibet in 1959 and his journey into exile in India.Created officially in cooperation with the Office of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the film captures one of the most significant political and spiritual stories of our time. It also records a historic final reunion between His Holiness and the late Har Mander Singh, the Indian Political Officer who helped guide him to safety, filmed shortly before Singh’s passing.Narrated by Golden Globe nominee Hugh Bonneville (Downton Abbey, Paddington) and featuring an original score by Grammy-nominated artist Anoushka Shankar, the film combines rare archival material and first-person testimony to illuminate one of the defining journeys of the modern era.Released theatrically through AMC, Landmark and Cinemark Theatres in the United States, with additional theatrical events in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Taiwan and many more internationally, the film has been shown on over 950+ cinema screens worldwide and is now available to stream globally on Amazon, Apple TV+, YouTube and Google Play.
